Wings a Mile Long is a 4-piece jamband based out of Newark, Delaware, combining the jamming of the quintessential jambands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish with the exploration and sonic landscape of bands like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Pink Floyd, this band has a sound and style all their own. Austen Morgan(Bayrides, Chvnce) provides lead guitar and vocals with a soulful voice and Jerry Garcia-inspired guitar licks. Aubrey Inkster brings a groove-base improvisational style to the drum kit, toying with Funkadelic beats. Eric Coe(WIG., The Psychedelic Puppets) joins Aubrey in the rhythm section on bass, combining wandering lines with tight grooves. Aidan Gregore(WIG.,The Psychedelic Puppets) provides rhythm guitar and backup vocals, with spacey delay-soaked licks and spacious reverb. Wings a Mile Long play Grateful Dead themed gigs up and down the east coast as well as original music, with an original album in the works.
